4th of July Firecracker Cookies!

This is one of those fun holiday recipes I found on Pinterest, and after making it on the 4th of July last year, I decided I will make it for the 4th every year from now on. I’m really not much of a baker, so this is something that’s both fun and WAY easy that I can bring to parties and impress friends and family.

If you want to, obviously you can make your own sugar cookie and vanilla frosting recipes from scratch. But for those of us who don’t have the time or patience, a cookie mix and tub of frosting work just fine. You may need to also get an egg and some milk and mix it in with the cookie mix, depending on what the package says.

Just follow the instructions on your mix to make the cookies. Pull them out of the oven and wait for them to cool down, then frost. After frosting, get out your red and blue poprocks and sprinkle some on each cookie!!

Not only are they red, white and blue, but each time your friends and fam take a bite, the pop rocks will pop in their mouth. Firecracker cookies. Get it? Genius. Pure genius.

Happy 4th!!
