Chocolate Caramel Cookies!!

Christmas time is here, and that means the season Christmas cookies and treats is upon us as well!

A simple search on Pinterest results in thousands of mouth watering creations. Everything from candy cane cookies, to melted snowman, to stars and Christmas trees. The possibilities are endless!

Here is one of my favorites. The recipe is extremely simple and totally worth the mess that will cover your hands while making them. Plus, who can go wrong with chocolate and caramel?

Chocolate Caramel Christmas Cookies:

Ingredients:

-1 box devil’s food cake mix

-2 eggs

-1/2 cup canola oil

-42 Rolo candies

-Regular or Mini M&M’s

Instructions:

1.) In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, and oil.

2.) Roll tablespoons of dough into a ball. Then push a Rolo candy into the ball, making sure it is completely covered by the dough.

3.) Press a few M&M candies into the top of the cookie.

4.) Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until tops begin to crack. (We don’t want all that delicious caramel to leak out!)

5.) Let cool for a few minutes before removing to a wire cooling rack.

6.) Enjoy!!!
